The model was 40% cheaper than the Belkin the similar model available in the BR Apple Store, and smaller. The watch charger seems to be a bit slower than the original charger, but the overall gain is very much worth it. It even charger my iPhone with a silicon case with doesn't have magnets! This was the better surprise, as I was resigned I was going to have to buy an Apple case as well, which is ridiculously expensive in Brazil. Takes about 3h for a full charge, which is not a problem at all for me. If I need faster charging, just take out the cover.
First review I'd read was a different model which is designed for the iPhone in landscape mode - considered silencing the extra $$, but decided against.
This model, whilst not designed for landscape, still supports it easily.
Time will tell if the white gets dirty, but so far so good. Charging watch, air pods and phone is so neat and the footprint on my bedside table is so much smaller than before.
I've owned quite a few 12 South products over the years, and while pretty much everything is well-designed, this product stands out to me as a cut above in both design and production quality. It's exactly what I needed for my bedside table. If you're considering some cheap Amazon alternative, do yourself a favor and don't cut corners on this one. The adhesive feet were also a nice little touch that I only discovered when I was about to apply my own adhesive.
